Primary Care at Home, Inc. (PCAHI) was honored to be among the organizations invited to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month with San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie at San Francisco City Hall.

The celebration brought together community members and organizations to recognize the rich histories, vibrant cultures, achievements, and lasting contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities.

PCAHI was proud to take part in this special occasion, celebrating the diversity that strengthens our communities and the importance of cultural representation, inclusion, and connection.

Representing PCAHI with Pride

Representing PCAHI at the celebration was Czyrsis Rodriguez, our Bilingual Care Coordinator, whose work reflects our commitment to making healthcare more accessible and welcoming to the diverse communities we serve.

Czyrsis had the opportunity to participate in the celebration, connect with the community, and capture a memorable moment with Mayor Daniel Lurie.

Reflecting on the experience, Czyrsis shared:

"It was a great experience, and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to take a picture with the mayor."

We are grateful to Czyrsis for representing PCAHI and helping strengthen our connection with the communities we serve.

Celebrating Culture, Community, and Inclusion

National Hispanic Heritage Month, observed annually from September 15 through October 15, is an opportunity to honor the histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities throughout the United States.

At PCAHI, celebrating cultural diversity goes hand in hand with our mission to provide compassionate, accessible, and inclusive healthcare.

We recognize that language, cultural understanding, and trust play important roles in helping individuals feel comfortable seeking care and accessing health resources.

Through our bilingual staff, community outreach efforts, HIV prevention services, and comprehensive healthcare programs, we work to help individuals and families feel heard, respected, and supported.

Strengthening Connections Across Our Communities

Participating in events like the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration at San Francisco City Hall reminds us of the importance of community partnerships, cultural appreciation, and representation.

We are grateful for the opportunity to join Mayor Daniel Lurie and fellow community organizations in recognizing the contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities.

PCAHI remains committed to fostering meaningful connections, reducing barriers to healthcare, and ensuring that the diverse communities we serve have access to the care and support they deserve.

Together, we celebrate the cultures, traditions, and people who make our communities stronger.
