PCAHI and Mission Wellness Pharmacy Bring Essential Health Services to Folsom Street Fair 2026

On September 27, 2026, Primary Care at Home, Inc. (PCAHI) and Mission Wellness Pharmacy proudly participated in the Folsom Street Fair 2026, joining community partners to provide vaccinations, sexual health education, HIV prevention resources, and access to supportive healthcare services.
Held in San Francisco's South of Market (SoMa) neighborhood, the annual Folsom Street Fair brings together thousands of attendees in a celebration of diversity, self-expression, inclusion, and community.
This year's event provided another opportunity for PCAHI and Mission Wellness Pharmacy to connect with the community, promote preventive healthcare, and help individuals access the services and resources they need to stay healthy.
Working Together at the Folsom Street Fair Health Pavilion
PCAHI and Mission Wellness Pharmacy were proud to participate in The Health Pavilion, a collaborative effort bringing together healthcare organizations committed to expanding access to essential health services.
Working alongside the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH), San Francisco Community Health, and Walgreens, our team helped connect attendees with sexual health services, HIV and STI testing, PrEP resources, vaccinations, and health education.
The Health Pavilion provided a welcoming environment where attendees could access preventive healthcare services, ask questions, and learn more about resources available throughout the Bay Area.
Collaborations like these demonstrate the importance of bringing healthcare directly into community spaces, making essential services more accessible while helping reduce barriers and stigma.
Providing mpox and COVID-19 Vaccinations
One of PCAHI and Mission Wellness Pharmacy's key contributions to the event was providing on-site mpox and COVID-19 vaccinations for uninsured attendees.
By offering these vaccinations directly at the fair, our team helped make preventive healthcare more accessible to individuals who might otherwise face challenges obtaining these services.
Beyond vaccinations, our staff engaged with attendees, answered questions, and shared information about the importance of prevention, early detection, and staying connected to healthcare services.
These interactions reflect PCAHI's ongoing commitment to meeting people where they are and ensuring that access to healthcare is not limited by insurance status or other barriers.
Connecting Attendees with HIV Prevention and Supportive Care
Throughout the day, our team also shared information about PCAHI's programs and services, including HIV prevention, PrEP, and comprehensive care for people living with HIV.
An important part of our outreach involved helping attendees learn about and navigate the Medi-Cal Waiver Program, which provides eligible individuals living with HIV access to supportive services designed to help them maintain their health and independence.
Our team was available to answer questions, explain available resources, and help individuals better understand how PCAHI can support their healthcare needs.
Events like the Folsom Street Fair create valuable opportunities to introduce community members to services they may not have known were available, while encouraging conversations about sexual health in a supportive, judgment-free environment.

Continuing Our Commitment to Community Health
At PCAHI and Mission Wellness Pharmacy, we believe that healthcare should be accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of the communities we serve.
Our participation in the Folsom Street Fair reflects our continued commitment to reducing barriers to care, expanding access to HIV prevention and supportive services, and building meaningful connections throughout the Bay Area.

We look forward to continuing these partnerships and creating more opportunities to bring compassionate, accessible healthcare directly to our communities.
