Anthony Jones has decades of experience in working with people living with HIV. He believes in both advancing the preventative and therapeutic strategies, while also providing holistic medical care that also address the full spectrum of patient needs.

With over four decades of experience in HIV support and advocacy, Anh Nguyen has committed herself to bettering the health of the east Bay Area. She is driven by the belief that everyone, but especially most vulnerable, deserve a quality of life that allows them to thrive.

Damon Powell, PhD
Project Director
Damon supervises the Ryan-White and Medi-Cal Waiver programs. Additionally, he troubleshoots any program-related issues between the team and funders.
In his spare time, Damon is an active visual artist and writer.

Manuel Mendivil, RN
Director of Nursing
Manuel works as both a geriatric nurse and a nurse case manager for the Medi-Cal Waiver program at PCAHI. He is an avid reader of fantasy books; and enjoys music, traveling, and spending time with his sidekick: his daughter.

Regina Williams, RN, MSN
Nurse Case Manager
With over 17 years of experience as a registered nurse, Regina has extensive experience working with acute and chronically ill patients both on med-surgical units and home health and clinic settings.

Charles Washington, MSW
Social Work Case Manager
Charles is committed to providing accessible clinical services to underrepresented communities and has over 11 years of clinical experience working in diverse communities. In addition to a Master's in Social Work, he also has a Master's in Counseling Psychology.

Eric Nguyen
Social Work Case Manager
Eric is a Social Worker Case Manager who is beginning his career with compassion and acceptance. He will do his best to help serve those who are in need without hesitation.

Nathan Nguyen
Director of Finance
Nathan Nguyen has been part of PCAHI since 2018, starting as a volunteer before taking on a leadership role. He is dedicated to making a positive impact and ensuring communities get the care they need. Passionate about service and advocacy, he strives to help others. Outside of work, he enjoys swimming, hiking, and reading.

Kim Nguyen
Director of Operations
Kim is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in client services. Her work is fueled by a deep commitment to equity, compassion, and the belief that everyone deserves access to quality services and respectful care.
Kim loves exploring new restaurants, diving into fresh learning opportunities, and mentoring.

Carrie Nguyen
Care Coordinator
Carrie coordinates with other staff members accordingly and provides quality care for every patient-participants. She manages at an office in Campbell, ensuring all patients have a positive outcome and team members are taken care of. She provides clear communication and solves problems effectively.

Allison Pham
Care Coordinator/Phlebotomist
Allison is a dedicated Healthcare Coordinator with a deep passion for patient advocacy. She takes pride in ensuring optimal patient care by facilitating the seamless execution of treatment plans. Working closely with doctors and nurses, she addresses concerns and ensures every detail is handled with precision.

Joanna Ho
Nurse Case Manager
Joanna Ho is a registered nurse case manager. Her hobbies include cooking, reading, traveling, and hanging out with friends.

Herbert Tom
Social Work Case Manager
Herbert is a dedicated mental health professional born and raised in Guam, and proudly identifies as an Asian Pacific Islander of indigenous background. Passionate about serving underserved and minoritized communities, Herbert has extensive experience working with individuals with dual diagnoses across various healthcare settings. His work is rooted in cultural humility, equity, and a deep commitment to client-centered care.

Tim Nguyen, PA-C
Physician's Assistant
PA Tim Nguyen has been practicing primary care/adult medicine for eleven years, with a focus on health equity in FQHC settings. He holds joint master's degrees in Public Health and Physician Assistant Studies from Touro University California, alongside specialty certifications in HIV medicine and psychiatry. Beyond clinical care, PA Nguyen mentors future clinicians and helps organizations develop equity-driven healthcare protocols.

Board-Certified Family Physician committed to advancing community health and well-being. With over 15 years of experience in housing, support services, and education through community-based non-profit organizations, Dr. Chau is deeply passionate about promoting positive health outcomes by addressing social determinants of health and enhancing the built environment.

Julie Lu, D.O.
Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
Dr. Julie Lu completed her undergraduate education at UC Berkeley with a degree in Public Health and her medical training at Touro Nevada. She did her family medicine training through Northwestern University and has also completed a fellowship in integrative medicine. Currently she works at a community health center and is on faculty of a family medicine residency program. Her interest is in holistic health care, health care access and nutrition. Outside of work she enjoys hanging out with her daughter, crafts, cooking and being outside.

Tiana Washington, MFT
Marriage & Family Therapist
Tiana specializes in working with adults through individual therapy and has over 16 years of experience supporting individuals across diverse communities. Her work is deeply client-centered and collaborative—grounded in the belief that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Every client’s experience is unique, and she tailors her approach to meet their specific needs, life experiences, and cultural context.
Her hobbies consist of karaoke, fine dining and traveling.

She believes healing is multifaceted, requiring a holistic, collaborative approach. She supports individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship stress, trauma, grief, loss, or life transitions. She builds safe, trusting relationships through authentic, trauma-informed, and client-centered care tailored to each individual's personal goals. Her gentle, relational, exploratory, and experiential approach integrates EMDR, Jungian Psychology, ACT, CBT, IFS, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.

As a pharmacist, Kristy has dedicated herself to providing patient care that leads with empathy. She strives to build strong and compassionate relationships with her patients to empower them to live healthy and fulfilling lives. Outside of work, she enjoys drawing, painting, and spending time with family.

Erica has over 13 years of experience as a pharmacist. She was born and raised in San Francisco and is fluent in Cantonese, so she has been able to help many Cantonese-speaking patients with their health care. Her favorite pass time is spending time with family and is a big Disney and Hello Kitty fanatic.

Anabel Garcia
Pharmacy Clerk
As a San Francisco native, Anabel is very familiar with the city and all the wonderful things it has to offer, so working as a pharmacy clerk in the area she grew up in, and serving the people of her community, gives her a sense of pride and purpose. She received her bachelors in Chemistry at the University of San Francisco, with a concentration in medicinal/synthetic Chemistry, and working in the pharmacy is giving her hands on experience with medicine and understanding the pharmacy world.

Andresha is a pharmacy technician with 20 years of experience proudly serving the San Francisco community, specializing in HIV treatment and medication. Born and raised in SF, she knows this city like the back of her hand- and yes, that includes all the best yarn shops. When she's not behind the counter helping patients, you'll find her knitting, crocheting, gardening, or passionately celebrating BTS and her bias Jimin.

Native to SF Bay Area and live music enthusiast. She is a nature and animal lover, and also enjoys hiking, roller-blading, reading and of course, good food!

Roman Flintroy
Therapist
Roman Flintroy, a licensed mental health professional, author, and business owner from Oakland CA, leads COTTON and The Bubble Bath Bar Inc., serving the BIPOC Community. He is the author of Growing Up with Bobby, which is a book that focuses on early childhood development. He supports youth and adults, our aging populations, LGBTQ+ community members, those faced with health disparities, and re-entry populations through therapy, mindfulness approaches, and water-based healing.

Marvin Matamoros, a Mission High and UC Berkeley graduate, he actively advocates for equity and increased support for Black, Latino, and immigrant communities in San Francisco.

David Greenberg

David is a Registered Nurse and Case Manager at Primary Care at Home. He has worked continuously in HIV care since the beginning of the epidemic in 1981, starting his career in Oakland. With more than four decades of experience, David is deeply committed to supporting individuals in their care and treatment. He provides clinical expertise, home-based care, medical guidance, and compassionate support to help patients navigate their health journeys. Raised in San Francisco, David has called the East Bay home for the past 50 years.

Jesse Brooks
Community Liaison
Jesse is a Certified Community Health Worker (CHW) who is passionate about advancing equity, dignity, and access to care for people living with HIV. With a strong commitment to advocacy and activism, he works to ensure that community voices are centered in decision-making processes and that critical needs are met with compassion, accountability, and respect. Jesse is dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening systems of care to better serve those most impacted.
