On April 22, 2026, Primary Care at Home, Inc. (PCAHI), in collaboration with the Latino Task Force, hosted a free HIV and Hepatitis C testing event in San Francisco, bringing accessible, no-cost care directly into the community.
Designed to be fast, confidential, and low-barrier, the event welcomed individuals throughout the day—many of whom were able to access testing while going about their normal routines.
Representing PCAHI were Jocelyn, Jennifer, Eric, Palm, Manuel, and Jesse, who provided testing, education, and one-on-one support to community members.
Fast, Free, and Confidential Testing
As highlighted in the event outreach, services were:
Free – at no cost to participants
Fast – results available in approximately 20 minutes
Confidential – privacy fully protected
By removing common barriers like cost, time, and stigma, the event created a space where individuals felt comfortable taking an important step toward better health.
Community Impact
Through this collaborative effort, PCAHI and the Latino Task Force reached dozens of community members in just a single day:
40+ individuals tested for HIV
49 individuals tested for Hepatitis C
Each interaction represented more than just a test—it was an opportunity to educate, build trust, and connect individuals to ongoing care and prevention services.
Culturally Responsive, Community-Focused Care
With bilingual outreach and strong community partnerships, this event reflected a shared commitment to health equity and culturally responsive care. By offering services in both English and Spanish and hosting the event in an accessible neighborhood location, we ensured that more people could receive the care they need in a way that feels welcoming and inclusive.
Strong Partnerships, Greater Impact
We are proud to partner with the Latino Task Force in expanding access to essential health services across San Francisco. Collaborations like this allow us to extend our reach, deepen community trust, and deliver care that meets people where they are—both physically and culturally.
Your Health. Your Power.
At PCAHI, we remain committed to providing accessible, community-based healthcare that empowers individuals to take control of their health.
Events like this are more than outreach—they are a reflection of our mission in action.
